Inaugural ANGEL Southeast User Group Conference to Take Place November 6, 2008

Indianapolis, Ind. – October 24, 2008 – ANGEL® Learning, a leading provider of enterprise eLearning software and services, today announced the first regional ANGEL user group conference will be held November 6, 2008. Organized by a group of dedicated users in the region, the one-day, virtual conference features a keynote address by Christopher Clapp, ANGEL Learning president and CEO, and 18 sessions in two tracks presented by ANGEL users from across the Southeast U.S.
All ANGEL Users in the Southeast U.S. Are Invited
The ANGEL Southeast User Group Virtual Conference is the first organized opportunity for ANGEL users in an identified region of the U.S. to share and collaborate on challenges and opportunities specific to their region. The ANGEL Southeast User Group comprises states served by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). All ANGEL community members in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia are invited to attend the conference.
Tracks for Teachers and Technologists
The conference will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The opening keynote address at 8:30 will be followed by sessions in two tracks: Teaching & Learning and Technology, Programming & Administration.
