ANGEL Learning Appoints Donald W. Scifres to Executive Team

Indianapolis, Ind. – Feb. 28, 2007 – ANGEL®Learning, recognized innovator of enterprise elearning software and services, today announced the appointment of Donald W. Scifres to the ANGEL Learning executive team in the role of Vice President, Services. Scifres assumes responsibility for ANGEL customer support, implementation consulting, education and application hosting services.

Scifres has more than 15 years experience in senior information technology leadership roles. Prior to joining ANGEL, Scifres was first vice president for information services at Freedom Mortgage Corporation (formerly Irwin Mortgage Corporation), Fishers, IN. His extensive technology experience includes application development, implementation, integration and support and solutions hosting and support. In this capacity, Scifres lead projects envisioning, prioritizing and implementing strategic internal and customer-facing applications.
Additionally, while in systems and IT leadership positions at Cummins, Inc., in Columbus, IN, Scifres lead efforts to create and apply new business methods in such areas as shared services, global business applications, project management and computer integrated manufacturing.
Scifres holds a B.S. in Technology from Purdue University and has completed executive education courses in finance and accounting at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and in leadership at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
