ANGEL User Groups

Want to collaborate and share with other ANGEL community members year round? Then join an ANGEL User Group. Run by community members, ANGEL User Groups provide a great opportunity for you to learn, share, and collaborate with users in your area or users who share a subject matter of interest.

Subject Matter User Groups

K12

The ANGEL K12 User Group is focused on ANGEL community members serving primary, middle, and high school students, regardless of their location in North America. For more information, email AUG-K12@angellearning.com.

Second Life

The ANGEL Second Life User Group is for those interested in using Second Life with ANGEL products. The ANGEL Learning Isle Steering Committee is heavily involved in this group. For more information, email AUG-SL@angellearning.com.

Regional User Groups

Midwest

The ANGEL Midwest User Group is comprised of many of the states within the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and central Canadian provinces. States included are Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wisconsin, plus the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Ontario. Northeast

The ANGEL Northeast User Group is comprised of the states and territories within the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and eastern Canadian provinces. This includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the Canadian provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Northwest

The ANGEL Northwest User Group is comprised of many of the states within the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and western Canadian provinces. This includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, plus the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. For more information, email AUG-Northwest@angellearning.com.

Southeast

The ANGEL Southeast User Group is comprised of the states within the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia as well as schools for US students in Mexico and the Caribbean. The ANGEL Southeast User Group held its first regional user conference on November 6, 2008. Over 200 members of the community registered for the virtual conference held via Elluminate.

The ANGEL West User Group is comprised of many of the states within the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE).
